Many decades later, and still in admiration of all sorts of artists, I decided that listening to music was fun, but making and playing music was…funner? So, I decided to try my hand at writing lyrics and learning an instrument. Mandolin has been my first victim. So far, my songs are sitting in categories of country or bluegrass and rubbing elbows with Americana.

Hello! Thank you for finding me online! Let me tell you a little bit of my story… Luckily for you it’s kinda short, like me!

I grew up listening to, dancing to, and singing to all kinds of music from Cat Stevens to The Clash from Bonnie Raitt to Bill Withers. My first concert was the Go-Go’s opening up for The Police. Would you believe me if I told you that my second concert was The Grateful Dead? True fact. They were also my second, third, fourth, all the way to umpteenth shows.
